SmartCleam Terms of Service

Welcome to SmartCleam (the "App"). These Terms form a binding agreement between you and selfLab ("we", "us"). Please read these Terms carefully before using the App, especially the bolded provisions. By downloading, installing or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety. These Terms apply together with Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). If there is a conflict, mandatory App Store rules control.

1. About the Service

• The App is an on-device cleaning tool providing duplicate and similar photo detection, confirmation-before-delete for library cleanup, video compression, Live Photo conversion, contact deduplication and merging, calendar cleanup, organizing by place or month, cleanup statistics, and an optional home screen widget.
• Core scanning and browsing features are available without payment. Certain premium features require SmartCleam Pro (see Section 3).
• All analysis and processing of your photos, videos, contacts and calendar data takes place locally on your device. We make no guarantee as to the outcome of any data processing.

2. Acceptable Use

• You agree to use the App lawfully and not for any illegal or improper purpose;
• Every photo library deletion in the App requires your confirmation in a native system dialog. Any loss of photos, videos, contacts or calendar events resulting from deletions you explicitly confirmed is your own responsibility. We recommend reviewing the confirmation page before deleting and using the contact backup export feature when merging contacts;
• Video compression changes file size and bitrate; actual output may vary;
• You may not reverse engineer, crack or redistribute the App beyond reasonable personal use.

3. SmartCleam Pro, Subscriptions and Purchases

SmartCleam Pro unlocks premium features, including:

• Confirming deletes from the pending-delete basket;
• Video compression;
• Live Photo to still conversion;
• Contacts merge / delete tools;
• Calendar cleanup deletion.

We currently offer the following paid products (titles and lengths). Displayed prices may vary by region and App Store localization; the price shown in the App Store purchase sheet at checkout is authoritative:

• Weekly Pro — auto-renewable subscription, 1 week length. Introductory offer may apply for eligible new subscribers (for example a discounted first week), then renews at the regular weekly price.
• Yearly Pro — auto-renewable subscription, 1 year length.
• Lifetime — one-time non-consumable purchase that unlocks Pro permanently on that Apple ID for this App; it does not auto-renew.

Payment and renewal. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Auto-renewable subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in iPhone Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions (or Apple ID subscription management). Unused portions of a free trial, if any, are forfeited when you purchase a subscription where applicable.

Restore. You may restore previous purchases on a device signed in with the same Apple ID via the Restore Purchases control in the App.

Refunds. Purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies; we do not process card payments directly.

4. Intellectual Property

The interface designs, code, icons and related content of the App are owned by us. You receive a limited license to use the App on your devices for personal, non-commercial purposes only, subject to App Store rules and any Pro entitlement you purchase.

5. Privacy

We take your privacy seriously. See the SmartCleam Privacy Policy for details on data handling. The Privacy Policy is an inseparable part of these Terms.

6. Disclaimer

• The App is provided "as is", without any express or implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose;
• We are not liable for data loss caused by device failure, system limitations, user error or other factors beyond our control;
• We may update, maintain or adjust the App's features when necessary, without incurring any liability for compensation.

7. Changes and Termination

We may revise these Terms from time to time and publish revisions on this page. If you do not agree with a revision, stop using the App; continued use constitutes acceptance. You may uninstall the App at any time to terminate this agreement. Canceling a subscription or uninstalling the App does not automatically entitle you to a refund for the current billing period except as required by Apple’s policies or applicable law.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Disputes shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation; failing that, either party may bring a claim before a court of competent jurisdiction.
